When it comes to nicely crafted traditional and digital music fusion the Shukar Collective is defintely a good example.
The Romanian project uniting Roma musicians, DJs and electronic sound artists shakes the booty of the world. Two albums have been released so far. Hopefully there is more to come in the near future.

The last video has been directed by Matei-Alexandru Mocanu. He also made the documentary The Shukar Collective Project about the crosscultural experience, which is a hot candidate for the 2012 edition of the 3. Norient Musikfilm Festival.
